Harris backs Barkley as RB1 despite zone-scheme fit concerns.
Bob Harris projects Barkley as a worthwhile RB1 despite zone-running scheme fit concerns in Philadelphia. Harris notes Barkley is a stronger gap runner than zone runner but has improved patience and footwork, and his consultation with Todd Gurley (who thrived in Sean McVay's zone scheme with the Rams) provides tactical homework that should help him adapt. Harris does not expect the bottom to fall out and maintains RB1 projection.
