I'm feeling that he's close to it. I think that he I he may never quite reach Jefferson's heights, but I think he'll be pretty close...He's a smooth route runner, very skilled at using being able to tell a story...he's definitely a year one starter in most situations.

While criticized for after-catch ability, Harris notes Tate often catches in traffic and is good enough to make the first man miss; he's not a deep threat but catches the middle of the field effectively. Harris pushes back on after-catch criticism, noting it's limited by catch location and unrealistic Steve Smith-level expectations. Tate is a definite year-one starter in most situations; even on the Vikings, he'd likely play outside opposite Jordan Addison in the slot.
