Connors is an above-average receiver with solid hands and positioning.

Houston (formerly Rice) running back characterized as a good receiver with above-average receiving skills. Gets both hands tight with overhand position, takes hits to back or chest while maintaining possession, high points the ball, extends well with arms wide of frame without leaving feet unnecessarily, has late hands to avoid tipping off defenders, turns well behind break path facing tight coverage, can catch while breaking opposite direction or falling backwards, has good positioning after catch, and attacks vertical routes with back to quarterback. Lapses occur when reaching over head with overhand attack, but he tracks ball over shoulders well and shows acrobatic skill and one-handed catch ability.
