Jamaal Williams, 7.25... I would say Williams was a combination of both groups. He was a downhill banger, but he also possessed the um or excuse me, processed the field well enough to be a step ahead in certain situations like short yardage in the red zone.

NeutralProjection

Hybrid downhill banger with field processing for short-yardage and red zone.

Three-cone drill time of 7.25 seconds places him in reserve-tier territory (7.2+ seconds), yet he has contributed at a high level in the NFL. Represents a hybrid archetype: a downhill banger with field-processing ability that allows him to be a step ahead in short-yardage and red-zone situations.
