One of his more underrated traits last season was his pass protection ability out of the backfield. If Williams stays healthy for most of the 2026 season, the Cowboys RB2 is absolutely on the roster. His pass protection value is a key reason the Cowboys may add a veteran running back as insurance if Williams misses time.
