From the article
Role: Backup WR; Roster Chance: 10%; three assured spots for Lamb, Pickens, and Flournoy, then a likely fourth for Turpin. Mims isn't even the front-runner among the other veterans vying for work: Jonathan Mingo or Marquez Valdes-Scantling is right now.

Mims has only 10% roster chance; faces steep competition for fifth WR spot.
Mims signed with Dallas as a backup WR on a veteran minimum deal ($1.15M cap hit) with only a 10% roster chance. The source notes he faces steep competition for a potential fifth WR spot behind the assured trio of CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Ryan Flournoy, plus likely fourth-stringer KaVontae Turpin. Jonathan Mingo and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are ahead of him among veteran competition, and Dallas has multiple young prospects (Anthony Smith, Traeshon Holden, Jordan Hudson) also vying for limited roster spots.
