Mile High Report on Lil'Jordan Humphrey

Humphrey faces long odds to stick on the roster with deep WR competition ahead.

Humphrey's roster spot is in jeopardy heading into 2026. The Broncos have 3 starting-talent receivers (Courtland Sutton, Jalen Waddle, Pat Bryant), 2 chess pieces (Marvin Mims Jr., Troy Franklin), and 4 undrafted rookies in the pipeline (Cameron Ross, Joseph Manjack, Dane Key, Kolbe Katsis). The source projects Humphrey will serve primarily as an insurance policy for WR injuries rather than a regular contributor, and does not expect the team to keep him over younger players with more upside unless a trade occurs.
