The Phinsider on Ollie Gordon

Gordon must step up in run-first scheme; critical for short-yardage and Willis success.

Gordon is identified as the RB who must step up in the Dolphins' shift to a run-first offensive scheme; the source emphasizes that 'we are becoming a run first team' and that Gordon must learn to 'throw himself into the position of being punished and be the punisher.' The source notes that games will be won and lost on short-yardage situations (3rd and 2) and that if Gordon excels, it will open up the passing game for Willis, whether on runs or downfield passes.
