ArticleNY Giants news: WR Malik Nabers avoids the PUP list
From the article
Wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee) is not expected to start training camp on the PUP list, per a report from Jordan Raanan of ESPN. That is much-needed good news for the New York Giants. As we well know, Nabers suffered a torn ACL with additional meniscus damage in the Giants Week 4 win against the Los Angeles Chargers a year ago. Instead, it does appear that he's trending toward being ready for Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Nabers avoids PUP list, trending toward Week 1 readiness after ACL/meniscus repair.
Wide receiver Malik Nabers avoided the PUP list to start training camp despite suffering a torn ACL with meniscus damage in Week 4 of the prior season. He underwent surgery to repair both the ACL and meniscus, plus a cleanup procedure in the off-season that had raised readiness questions. He is now trending toward being ready for Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. Once he practices or plays in a preseason game, he will become ineligible for the PUP list.
