Wicks' recent efficiency metrics rank poorly; 2023 rookie success not guaranteed to repeat.

Dontayvion Wicks is expected to fill the third receiver role behind DeVonta Smith and Makai Lemon, but his recent production metrics are concerning. Over the last two years, Wicks averaged 6.1 yards per target (118th of 138 WRs with 100+ targets), had fewer than 50 yards in 12 of 17 games with 5+ targets, posted a 55.5% catch rate (128th of 138), 11.1 yards per catch (81st), and a success rate ranked 100th. While he had a strong rookie season in 2023 with 581 yards and 14.9 yards per catch, the Eagles are counting on him to blossom in 2026, but it's not a lock. The Eagles also have Hollywood Brown and Elijah Moore as potential third WR options.
