Although it is tough to differentiate between who is doing well or not while nobody is tackling or wearing pads, it's tough to argue that Allar didn't have the best moments of any quarterback today. The third-rounder fired a ball over the middle of the field to wide receiver Max Hurleman in seven-on-sevens that, for what it's worth, would have gone for a touchdown... On the final play of practice, Allar fired a 25-yard rope to tight end Robert Tonyan in the back of the end zone for a touchdown.

Allar had the best moments of any quarterback on Day 1 of Steelers training camp, firing a touchdown pass to tight end Robert Tonyan on the final play and connecting on an impressive over-the-middle throw to Max Hurleman in seven-on-sevens that would have gone for a touchdown. Though he also threw an interception on a deflected ball and had two more batted down, the source notes it was encouraging to see exciting throws from the third-round pick despite him being a work in progress.
