Eskridge remains free agent; trying out for 49ers after Miami stint with limited production.

Free agent WR remains unsigned with training camp underway across all 32 NFL teams; most recently with Miami Dolphins after being waived by Seattle in 2024. Through 19 games in Miami, Eskridge caught seven passes for 106 yards and returned 33 kicks for 872 yards. Trying out for 49ers amid their WR injury crisis (Ricky Pearsall knee swelling, Christian Kirk calf injury). Eskridge's Seahawks tenure was hampered by injuries including a scary concussion in the 2021 season opener, and when available he was mostly a non-factor; his only NFL touchdown came against the 49ers in 2021, and he had a career-long 66-yard kick return in 2023.
