Allen linked to Colts; would directly overlap with Josh Downs' role.

Keenan Allen, a 34-year-old slot receiver, remains available in free agency as of early August 2026. The Colts have been repeatedly linked to Allen due to the Shane Steichen connection from their Chargers days. Allen has a demonstrated ability to siphon away targets from receivers in his orbit, which would directly impact Josh Downs if he signs in Indianapolis.
