Hooker was relegated to an observatory role during team and 7-on-7 periods when Trubisky returned. However, when Trubisky didn't take part in practice on Wednesday due to soreness, Hooker got action in team period and 7-on-7 after not doing so during the open portion of OTAs and minicamp. Hooker had a nice pass to rookie tight end Jaren Kanak during 7-on-7.
