Arroyo's three-day passing-game standout streak signals potential for expanded role in year two.

Second-year tight end Elijah Arroyo, the 50th overall pick in 2025 out of Miami, has been a standout in passing-game work for three straight days of training camp. After missing six games late last year with a knee injury, Arroyo made multiple TD catches in one-on-one drills against safety Rodney Thomas II and added a TD grab from Sam Darnold in team 11-on-11 work. He was a breakout player in camp last year before settling into a backup role to AJ Barner during the regular season, playing 316 snaps in 13 games with 15 catches for 179 yards and one TD. Recent practices suggest he may be poised to make a greater impact in his second NFL season.
