Head coach Mike Vrabel praised Arkin's learning curve, competitive spirit, and ability to avoid mental slowdown as assignments pile up; Arkin has been mixing snaps between first- and second-team offenses with Drake Maye's unit, lining up as an in-line blocker and receiving option. On Saturday, Maye connected with Arkin wide open in the flat on a play-action delayed route with yards after catch. Arkin achieved a 79.5 run-blocking grade on Pro Football Focus in his final 2025 season at Illinois and is competing for a roster spot.
