The third-year tight end, who has seemingly always struggled with catching the ball consistently, had a really good day. He made several nice catches. The best might have been a deep catch on a ball feathered beautifully over cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse by Jaxson Dart. Johnson dropped easy passes in each of the first two practices, so this was nice to see.
