The 2023 seventh-round pick from Green Bay, who was cut after a solid preseason last year, is back competing for the RB3 role with Pittsburgh. On Saturday, Nichols got the majority of work in the running back rotation and notably ran with the first-team offense in the two-minute drill to end practice, suggesting he is gaining ground in the backup competition.
