Bo Nix praised him as an "explosive playmaker" who is "really good at what he does," noting he is "fast, really explosive, great ball in hand, great going to get the ball deep, great in the screen game" and "very versatile." Nix stated Waddle "adds an extra element to our offense" and the team has "a lot of different weapons."
