STACKED’s take
Lemon getting first-team reps but early camp results mixed on separation.
Lemon has been working with the first-team offense and the Eagles seem committed to finding ways to get him the ball, despite missing minicamp. However, his early camp performance has been quiet; he faced predraft concerns about separation downfield that remain unanswered. He was targeted more on Day 3 but struggled against top-tier coverage—nearly intercepted by Andrew Mukuba on a stick route, beaten by Cooper DeJean on a deep slot route, and flagged for pass interference when matched against a linebacker on a short crosser. Lemon shows confidence on underneath routes and is described as a work in progress with the skills to be a good slot receiver, but the new scheme and facing an established defense have made things tough on the rookie.
