Yahoo Sports NFL on A.J. Brown

Brown syncing with Maye; muscled contested catch shows continued elite form.

Brown continues to build strong rapport with Drake Maye at Patriots camp and cannot stop smiling. He caught all three of his targets from Maye with his best work coming as he muscled a contested target away from Christian Gonzalez, and added quick hitters on an out and slant before leaving practice early for rest. The split between Brown and the Eagles has produced better outcomes for both parties, with the vibes surrounding the Eagles' offense in Year 1 under new OC Sean Mannion much better entering 2026.
