Pittman's short aDOT and Rodgers' quick-release style make him a better value than Metcalf.

Pittman is coming off the board as WR42 in the eighth round and represents strong value in full PPR leagues where he could outscore DK Metcalf. A year after Metcalf was the only outside threat in Pittsburgh, the Steelers upgraded the receiver room by drafting Germie Bernard in the second round and trading for Pittman, signing him to an extension. From 2021-2023, Pittman was a beast earning massive target volume and WR2 numbers; his production tumbled the past two years due to injuries to himself and his quarterbacks, but he still saw 111 targets in both 2024 and 2025. Pittman will thrive with Aaron Rodgers, who was 29th in yards per attempt (6.7) and 37th in air yards per attempt (6.1) in 2025 and prefers to unload the ball quickly into receivers' hands rather than hold it and invite defenders. This gels with Pittman, who posted an 8.2 aDOT last season and was often the go-to option on run-pass option (RPO) plays in Shane Steichen's offense. He can work the short and intermediate areas while Metcalf takes the top off the defense, making him the better pick at cost between the two Pittsburgh wideouts.
