Prescott is showing glowing camp reports with the ball coming out of his hands quickly and with confidence, demonstrating extra touch of accuracy across all three top receivers (Lamb, Pickens, Flournoy) and even to UDFA TE Michael Trigg. The trust is evident that when Prescott puts the ball in the right spot, his skill guys come down with it. Critically, Prescott has not played a full season in consecutive years since his first four as a starter from 2016-2019; however, based on early Oxnard glimpses, he is in full command of the offense at a level nearly impossible for any QB2 to replicate. With a defense now serviceable at worst (improved from 2025's hapless unit), Prescott staying healthy and the Cowboys improving on their 7-9-1 record is an exciting forecast.
