Swift remains 1A in Bears backfield despite Monangai's two-headed unit role.

Swift remains at least the 1A in the Bears backfield. Following Kyle Monangai's breakout Week 9 game last year, the backfield became a two-headed unit, with Swift handling 51% of rush attempts and 56% of snaps—a 10% drop in snap share compared to the first nine weeks. A healthy Monangai will maintain a sizable role, but Swift retains primary status.
