Mims is competing for the third receiver spot after an impressive 2024 season that led the source to expect increased involvement in 2025; however, he ranked behind Sutton, Franklin, and Bryant in snap count that year despite a high catch rate. Early camp reports show Mims making the most plays of the third-spot trio, with his deep-ball tracking ability on display. Head Coach Sean Payton has repeatedly acknowledged the need to get Mims more involved, raising the question of whether 2026 will finally be the year his offensive role expands.
