Patriots claim Palmer off waivers after Cardinals release him.

Palmer, a 26-year-old sixth-round pick by Arizona in 2024 out of UAB, was claimed by the Patriots off waivers after the Cardinals waived him on Monday. He spent the majority of his first two NFL seasons on the practice squad before signing to Arizona's active roster on Jan. 3 and appearing in the regular-season finale.
