Brooks cleared by surgeon, on track for Week 1 after second ACL tear.

Brooks suffered his second torn ACL on Dec. 8, 2024, and will not play in the Hall of Fame Game preseason opener Thursday. Head coach Dave Canales stated Brooks 'looks like the guy that I remember' amid the first healthy training camp of his NFL career. Brooks has said he feels close to 100 percent, and barring a setback, it would be surprising if he doesn't see the field for Carolina in Week 1.
