Allen (bone bruise, day-to-day) impresses with playbook grasp and natural post-snap ability.

Rookie wide receiver Cyrus Allen is recovering from a bone bruise and is day-to-day, but has impressed in camp with strong playbook grasp and natural ability. Bleymaier noted Allen's pre-snap mental processing and post-snap physical traits: 'Early on, he grasped the playbook and what we were asking him to do. He has a natural feel for space out there after the snap... His mental stuff was good pre-snap, and you can build on that. That's exciting.' Allen's natural ability is showing through despite the learning curve typical of young receivers.
