Yahoo Sports NFL on Adonai Mitchell

Mitchell positioned to break out with stable QB, elite WR room, and Reich's system.

Mitchell, a 2024 second-round pick (No. 52), is positioned to settle into the NFL after two years of instability. He had 24 catches for 301 yards and two touchdowns with the Jets after a midseason trade last year. The surrounding talent—including three-time 1,000-yard receiver Garrett Wilson returning from injury, rookie Omar Cooper Jr. fresh off a national championship at Indiana, and depth from Tim Patrick and Isaiah Williams—combined with a strong relationship with Geno Smith and Frank Reich's free-flowing offensive philosophy, could provide the stability Mitchell needs to finally establish himself.
