Murray at QB could restore Jefferson to WR1 form after McCarthy-era collapse.
Jefferson played poorly with J.J. McCarthy as his triggerman last year, averaging just 9.6 fantasy points per game in eight games McCarthy was the sole passer, with his best finish WR19 in Week 9 and WR20 or worse in the other seven games including four single-digit scoring efforts. If Kyler Murray wins the starting job, it gives Jefferson investors hope to believe he could come closer to his usual finish, as he finished no worse than WR6 in his four full seasons before last year.
