From the episode
St. Brown in Detroit, who I had a strong affinity for, plays the game the same way...he's got that competitive edge and that desire to be great...the way that he's running, the confidence he's coming into the season with, I don't see any reason why not. Not terribly expensive either.

STACKED’s take
Positive signalBreakout
Burden's camp dominance and Ben Johnson comp suggest breakout potential with volume upside.
Ben Johnson compares Burden to Amon-Ra St. Brown in terms of competitive edge and desire to be great, noting he plays the game the same way despite not being a full-time starter last year. Johnson has a track record of elevating slot receivers in his offense (Jarvis Landry, Sun God). Burden is generating strong camp separation reports, winning people over with his work ethic, and coming into the season with confidence. The Bears' projected 32nd-ranked defense (DVOA) could force more passing volume, which benefits Burden who needs targets but already shows efficiency. Not terribly expensive in draft cost.
