Schultz had the sixth most targets, third most receptions, and sixth most yards in 2026 but finished as TE11 due to only three touchdowns; he proved to be CJ Stroud's safety blanket, especially valuable given Houston's one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Though the Texans have tried to address the line this offseason, they still project below league average, which could support another high-volume season for the veteran TE. If the offense bounces back and Schultz reaches the endzone a couple more times, he could easily climb from his TE24 ADP as a plug-and-play option.
