Winning a roster spot over Ben Yurosek as training camp progresses; more of a receiving tight end and has shown up quite a bit in that role. With Max Bredeson as a blocking fullback/H-back/tight end, it makes more sense to have another receiving tight end on the roster rather than another blocker like Yurosek, who hasn't shown up in training camp. Sixth-round pick last year who missed his rookie season due to injury and was seemingly written off, but has come back and is making plays.
