Seahawks add fullback Brock Lampe; physical blocker with Hammock connection.

Seahawks signed undrafted fullback Brock Lampe from Northern Illinois, who spent his entire college career with the Huskies under then head coach Thomas Hammock, now the team's senior offensive assistant/running backs coach. Lampe profiles as a traditional physical blocker at 6'1, 249 lbs; he switched from linebacker to fullback ahead of his sophomore season in 2022 and helped anchor a rushing attack that averaged 203.8 rushing yards per game in his senior season. After going undrafted, he signed with the New England Patriots but missed his entire rookie campaign on injured reserve due to a leg injury in training camp; he was waived by New England on July 22 after returning for OTAs.
