Jacoby Brissett, the Cardinals' starter, held out for a better contract during the offseason but ultimately reached a deal with Arizona in July. While he still needs to get up to speed on the terminology of Mike LaFleur's offense, LaFleur indicated the two are already quite comfortable together. Brissett's holdout allowed Carson Beck to accumulate valuable first-team reps during the offseason.
