The Panthers waived wide receiver Ainias Smith with an injury settlement after he went on injured reserve Wednesday with an undisclosed injury. Smith was selected by the Eagles in the fifth round of the 2024 draft, appeared in seven games (starting one), and totaled seven receptions for 41 yards and one touchdown. He spent all of 2025 on the Panthers' practice squad.
