The UDFA tight end has surpassed Luke Schoonmaker on the Cowboys depth chart despite playing 91 fewer snaps last season (300 vs. 391). Spann-Ford has shown continued development as both a blocker and receiver since joining Dallas and is now considered by many the primary backup (TE2) heading into the 2026 season. He is currently having a strong training camp, further cementing his role as Dallas' TE2.
