ArticleFantasy Football Players Experts Will Never Draft Again (2026)
From the article
Brian Thomas Jr. had more than a sophomore slump; it was a sophomore cliff dive! He went from WR4 in his rookie year and being a league winner for owners who gambled on him in 2024 to WR43 and a team-wrecker in 2025.

Thomas's college inconsistency and 2025 cliff dive make him a definite fade at WR31.
Adam Dove (The Fantasy Couriers) calls Thomas's sophomore season a "cliff dive," not just a slump: WR4 rookie-year league winner to WR43 team-wrecker in 2025. Before his rookie year, Thomas had only one huge college season (1,177 yards, 17 TDs); prior to that he didn't exceed 361 yards. Parker Washington took over the WR1 role, and the Jaguars locked up Jakobi Meyers in December. Even at WR31, owners shouldn't expect Thomas to perform as a WR3, making him a definite fade.
