While he missed 18 of 34 games in the last two years, those absences resulted from a single leg injury penalizing him twice for one major injury. In his previous seven seasons, he missed only 1.6 games per season on average. When healthy, Godwin averages eight targets, six receptions, 71 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game over his last seven seasons. After getting comfortable with Baker Mayfield in 2024 before his leg injury, he was up to nine targets, seven receptions, 82 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per contest. Mayfield has historically thrived with slot receivers like Godwin. At age 30, Godwin has one last big season in him.
