Doubs could be an upgrade over Diggs as younger, less-expensive Patriots WR1 replacement.

The Patriots replaced their leading receiver from 2025, Stefon Diggs, with Doubs on a four-year, $68 million deal. While Doubs lacks the pedigree of Diggs, at the current stages of their careers he very well could turn out to be an upgrade for New England — a younger and momentarily less-expensive version of the departing star.
