Jefferson was a primary target for Murray in camp, receiving a picture-perfect go ball down the right sideline in 1-on-1 drills (putting it where only his receiver could go and get it despite Byron Murphy Jr. being in good position), quick completions to the sideline in situational periods, and a spectacular two-minute drill catch in double coverage where he rose up over both defenders, caught the ball, stayed on his feet as they fell, and jogged towards the end zone for a touchdown. Jefferson also drew attention from rookie CB Charles Demmings, who had two really good reps against him including a PBU on a fade stop in the red zone, suggesting Jefferson is being tested in camp but remains a focal point of the offense.
