Bryant is ascending and winning the WR3 battle over Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin. Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph called Bryant the "complete package" after practice. Offensive Coordinator Davis Webb praised him extensively, saying "Patty Ice has had some really, really good practices," called him "very, very savvy," and noted it's cool to see him take another jump early in year two. Head Coach Sean Payton highlighted Bryant's strong hands in traffic, run-after-catch ability, intelligence, and versatility to move between X and slot positions. Payton said "It'll be easy creating his role." Bryant can play inside or out, block, and is underrated after the catch.
