Richardson fractured the orbital bone around one of his eyes in a freak accident involving an exercise band before a game last year, was placed on injured reserve, and missed the remainder of the season. Teams interested in trading for or signing him have concerns about his eyesight as a result of the injury. Ian Rapoport stated the real question for Richardson's NFL future is 'how well can he see?' and whether he can feel and see rushers on either side and receivers downfield; these are real questions the Colts and any new team will have to answer.
