Unlike Rice, De'Von Achane did get a big contract extension from his team this offseason. That's great for him and his family, but from a fantasy perspective I don't love seeing him tied to Miami for the long-term. Mike McDaniel is gone and Miami has one of the least talented rosters in the NFL...his upside is capped if Miami is a low-scoring offense overall...Unless they are able to find above-average QB play this season or next, I struggle to see how Achane's dynasty value does anything except steadily decline.

Achane is a sell-high in dynasty; tied to rebuilding Dolphins with limited offensive upside.

The source identifies De'Von Achane as a sell-high candidate in dynasty despite receiving a big contract extension from Miami. While the extension is good for Achane personally, the source dislikes seeing him tied to Miami long-term because Mike McDaniel is gone and Miami has one of the least talented rosters in the NFL. The team is in full rebuild mode, likely to be among the worst offenses in 2026 and 2027. Achane will see plenty of touches and has a solid floor, but his upside is capped in a low-scoring offense. Entering his age-25 season, Achane will likely spend his prime years in an underachieving Miami offense. Unless Miami finds above-average QB play, the source expects Achane's dynasty value to steadily decline. For non-contending rosters, now is the time to flip Achane for a haul of rookie picks.
