Fantasy Life Articles on James Cook
From the article
Cook is an awesome player. Last year he led the league with 1,621 yards rushing in 17 games... If the No. 1 RB on the No. 1 offense is actually a good player, and if I can get him at the turn of Rounds 2-3, I'll be inclined to do it.
STACKED’s take
Cook's elite rushing production and Bills' top offense make him a worthy early-round target despite limited pass usage.
Cook led the league with 1,621 rushing yards in 17 games last year and has 3,179 scrimmage yards and 32 all-purpose TDs over the past two seasons. While he has only 78 targets in two full seasons under Joe Brady's playcalling, he demonstrated receiving ability with 44-445-4 in 2023 on 54 targets and 7.5 yards per target over three seasons. With Brady now as HC, there is potential for increased pass-game usage. The Bills have been No. 1 in offensive EPA (0.134) and success rate (48.5%) over the past four years and are projected for the NFL's best offense again. Matthew Freedman calls Cook an awesome player and is inclined to take the No. 1 RB on the No. 1 offense at the turn of Rounds 2-3.
