Dont'e Thornton, a rookie who was thrown to the wolves, has not developed enough to avoid being on the roster bubble in Las Vegas. The Raiders' depth chart has Jalen Nailor and Tre Tucker at the top two slots, with Jack Bech and Malik Benson projected to occupy the third and fourth receiver roles. Thornton can only stay on the roster if Benson fails to win the number three receiver role and Thornton's development improves, though Benson's special teams ability could help keep Thornton off the roster. There is some upside once Fernando Mendoza gets inserted under center.
