While the 2026 third-round draft choice has immense talent and upside, and has been actively involved with the top offense in training camp so far, his lack of experience adds a clear layer of uncertainty to his projection. Henry extension eases pressure on rookie Raridon to produce immediately.

2026 third-round pick projected as No. 1 tight end among Patriots' remaining group beyond 2026; possesses immense talent and upside; actively involved with top offense in training camp; Henry's extension removes immediate pressure on Raridon to produce as a rookie, allowing Patriots to execute smoother transition and develop him gradually rather than forcing him into starting role with uncertain experience level.
