Darnold mixed sharp moments with turnovers and protection issues.

Darnold wasn't bad but wasn't at his complete sharpest during the practice session. He threw an interception to the second-team defense, was nearly picked by Josh Jobe on an out route to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, dropped a snap resulting in an aborted play, and had a pass batted down at the line by Brandon Pili. In the red zone, he did connect with Elijah Arroyo for a touchdown, but the right side of the offensive line gave up consecutive sacks to turn a red zone possession into 4th and 24.
