Hurts started practice stronger than he finished it... On the whole, Hurts has done a better job of not holding onto the ball for forever this summer. But he had a relatively higher number of 'sacks' and throwaways today.

Hurts mixed strong early moments with late-practice struggles and decision-making issues.

Hurts started practice stronger than he finished. Positive moments included a well-timed connection with Hollywood Brown along the left sideline, multiple hits to Darius Cooper, and a crossing route to Elijah Moore hit in stride for good YAC potential. However, Hurts had a relatively higher number of sacks and throwaways, threw an interception to Quinyon Mitchell on a target intended for Brown that looked like a poor throw and decision, and took over 10 seconds to deliver a touchdown pass to Moore in the end zone late in a situational scenario—a delay that would likely result in a sack against a real pass rush.
