Lemon has not returned to practice and seems to be on track to miss the Eagles' first preseason game, which he probably would've played in if healthy. Uar Bernard expresses concern about the missed time, noting it's difficult to give him the benefit of the doubt in the context of Howie Roseman's historical struggles with drafting at the receiver position. Since 2010, Roseman has drafted only two receivers who earned a second contract with the Eagles: DeVonta Smith and Riley Cooper. Bernard is not suggesting Lemon is doomed, but the missed time is genuinely concerning.
